OnePlus has begun teasing the launch of its upcoming smartphone in the Turbo 6X series, the OnePlus Turbo 6X and OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro in China. Both of which bear a strong resemblance to the OnePlus Nord CE6 and Nord CE6 Lite models introduced in India last month. Several key specifications also appear to be shared between the devices.
According to official teasers, the OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro will feature a massive 8000mAh battery, a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SUPER processor, a 1.5K Samsung eye-protection display, and comprehensive water-resistance capabilities.
Meanwhile, OnePlus says the Turbo 6X is designed to deliver long-lasting battery life and consistently smooth performance. The device is confirmed to sport a 144Hz LCD eye-protection display, a large 7000mAh battery, and a Dimensity 7360 SUPER chipset.
Official product listings reveal that the OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro will be offered in Black and Orange colour options, while the Turbo 6X will be available in Black, Blue, and Green. Both smartphones are expected to launch in 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB configurations.
The OnePlus Turbo 6X is also rumored to feature a dual rear-camera setup consisting of a 50MP OV50D primary sensor and a 2MP secondary camera, along with an 8MP front-facing camera. Other reported specifications include 45W fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, dimensions of 165.85 × 75.85 × 8.55mm, and a weight of 208 grams.
The OnePlus Turbo 6X series is expected to be officially unveiled in China next week, with additional details likely to emerge ahead of the launch.
