OnePlus Open and Oppo Find N3 display specs Surface with 7.82-inch 2.5K inner screen, 6.31-inch 2K outer Screen, and colors option

OPPO and OnePlus have a growing consensus that the upcoming Oppo Find N3 and OnePlus Open will utilize the same hardware for different markets - the Find N3 as a Chinese exclusive and the OnePlus Open as a global foldable device. Based on these rumors, it is expected that the display specifications will be identical for both phones.

According to the leaker Digital Chat Station, we now have details on these specifications. The Oppo Find N3 is expected to feature displays that outperform those of the Galaxy Z Fold5. The inner display is reported to be a 7.82-inch panel with a resolution of 2268x2440 pixels, while the cover screen is a 6.31-inch unit with a resolution of 2484x1116 pixels and a traditional 20:9 aspect ratio. This translates to a pixel density of 426 pixels per inch (PPI) for the inner screen and 431 PPI for the outer one.

For comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold5's inner display measures 7.6 inches with a resolution of 1812x2176 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of approximately 373 PPI. Its cover screen is 6.2 inches with a resolution of 904x2316 pixels and a 23.1:9 aspect ratio, providing a pixel density of around 401 PPI. In theory, this suggests that the Oppo Find N3 (and possibly the OnePlus Open) will offer larger and sharper displays on both the inner and outer sides.

Digital Chat Station mentions the possibility of a variant featuring 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and they are even contemplating the idea of a version with 24GB of RAM.

According to Max Jambor, OnePlus Open will be available in two color options: Voyage Black and Emerald Eclipse. We should know more details and the exact launch date of the phones in the coming weeks.
