OnePlus Summer Launch Event on July 16 confirmed the launch of OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus Watch 2R, and Nord Buds 3 Pro

OnePlus announced its upcoming Summer launch event scheduled for July 16th in Milan, Italy, earlier this week, where it teased the introduction of a new OnePlus Nord smartphone. Today, the company has officially disclosed the lineup of devices it will unveil at the event.

At the event, OnePlus will debut -

  • OnePlus Nord 4 smartphone featuring a metal unibody design
  • OnePlus Pad 2, a flagship productivity tablet
  • OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, an affordable pair of earbuds
  • OnePlus Watch 2R, a lightweight Wear OS smartwatch

OnePlus has indicated that more details on these products will be revealed in the days leading up to the event.

A recent leak has provided insights into the OnePlus Nord 4, revealing a distinct design from the Ace 3V model in China. The device is rumoured to feature a 6.74-inch 1.5K 2.8D curved AMOLED 120Hz display, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, 9140mm² VC cooling, a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX882 sensor and OIS support, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, an alert slide, and a 5500mAh battery supporting 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.

Regarding the OnePlus Watch 2R, powered by Wear OS, reports suggest it will mirror the design of the Chinese version of the OnePlus Watch 2, housed in an aluminium alloy casing but with some features scaled back, such as the absence of eSIM support and NFC.

The OnePlus Pad 3 is expected to share specifications similar to the OnePlus Pad Pro introduced in China, including a 12.1-inch 3K 144Hz IPS display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, an 8MP front camera, Smart Touch Keyboard, and a 9500mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging capability.

The OnePlus Summer Launch Event on July 16th will commence at 9 AM EDT (6:30 PM IST), and OnePlus will stream the event live on its YouTube channel. The OnePlus Nord 4 will be available for purchase on Amazon, while other products are expected to be accessible through various online channels.
