OnePlus 8T launched in India starting at Rs. 42999 with 6.55-inch FHD+ 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865 5G, up to 12GB RAM

OnePlus just launched its latest flagship smartphone OnePlus 8T and the successor of OnePlus 8 in India at an online launch event, as they promised. It has a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, and a 20:9 aspect ratio and has an In-display fingerprint sensor. It supports HDR 10+, tuned color accuracy rating of JNCD ~.0.3 for life-like quality, and 8192 degrees of brightness adjustment. The OnePlus 8T has flat Corning Gorilla Glass protection and has received an A+ rating from DisplayMate.

It runs on the Octa-Core Snapdragon 865 processor with an X55 5G modem that supports both NSA and SA 5G,  up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB storage, and has a vapor chamber that is 285% larger than the predecessor along with graphite for cooling, and works on OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11.0. Coming to the cameras, it has a quad rear camera setup where a 48 MP primary camera with a Sony IMX586 sensor along with 16 MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP monochrome lens. Some of the camera features include video nightscape, video portrait, and video tracking. On the front side has a 16-megapixel in-screen front-facing camera with a Sony IMX471 sensor.

The OnePlus 8T is powered by a 4500mAh (Twin 2250mAh batteries) that supports Warp Charge 65W charging that can charge the phone fully in just 39 minutes. According to the company, it is equipped with 12 individual thermal monitors to keep charging temperatures at a safe level. The charger also supports up to 45W PD charging, so it supports devices such as laptops or tablets. The phone comes with a glossy glass back in Aquamarine Green takes advantage of diffuse reflection, a form of light refraction that scatters light in an expansive array of angles and directions, and provides a clean, gleaming surface, and the Lunar Silver color features matte-frosted glass.
