These OnePlus 3 leaked images look a lot a HTC smartphone
We have been seeing several leaks and rumors about the OnePlus 3 smartphone and now we have some live images which allegedly show the new flagship of the company. The phone has a case around it so we can't see the OnePlus 3 properly, but from the looks of it, there are striking similarities to HTC's design principles here.
One of the main reasons why these leaked images are being pegged to be those of the OnePlus 3 is the placement and design of the home button which should also double up as the fingerprint sensor. You can also see a front-facing camera there and a proximity sensor to its left. The back is where things get really interesting with the design.
It seems that OP3 will come with a complete metal build and the speakers will either be in the front or at the bottom of the device. We can assume that there will be a USB Type-C port for charging here and the device will have a 16MP rear and 8MP front-cameras as per previous leaks. Other rumored specs say that the OP3 will have a 5.5-inch 1080p display running on the Snapdragon 820 processor with 3GB/4GB RAM options and a choice of 32GB/64GB storage as well.
Last time we heard, OnePlus was also working on its own fast charging standard dubbed Dash Charge which may just be a re-brand of OPPO's VOOC Fast Charging technology. Then there was also talk of a 3500 mAh battery on the OnePlus 3 with support for said fast charging tech. NFC is also expected to come with the new flagship alongwith 4G LTE support.
Pricing information had leaked earlier which points to two variants of the OnePlus 3 which starts at CNY 1999 (about $300 or Rs. 20500) for the 3GB/32GB variant and CNY 2499 (about $380 or Rs. 25500) for the 4GB RAM/32GB Storage variant.
Thanks Omkar for the Tip!
