Nubia Z70 Ultra launched with 6.85-inch 1.5K 144Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, up to 24GB RAM

Nubia has officially launched the Z70 Ultra, its latest flagship smartphone in China, as previously promised. The device runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 PRO storage, and is based on Android 15 with Nebula AIOS, the phone introduces several AI-driven features, such as AI Translate, which enables real-time multilingual communication.

The Z70 Ultra features a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED BOE Q9+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 95.3% screen-to-body ratio, peak brightness of 2000 nits, and advanced dimming options, including 2592Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and DC dimming. It comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for superior dust and water resistance. The device showcases a unique "Starry Dome Soft Sand" back cover, offering a skin-friendly and delicate texture, paired with an all-metal middle frame and a softened design with micro-arc lines.

The Z70 Ultra is available in Black Seal and Amber colour options, along with a special Starry Sky Collector’s Edition, which supports two-way satellite calls and satellite text messaging. It features the latest seventh-generation under-screen camera technology with a 16MP sensor and second-generation Dragon Rhino glass for enhanced durability. On the rear, the phone is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera, a 50MP OV50D ultra-wide-angle camera with macro capabilities, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens.

Powering the device is a robust 6150mAh battery with silicon-carbon anode technology, supporting 80W fast charging. It also includes AI “Zero” Power Consumption 2.0 technology, designed to minimize energy usage during night-time wakeups.

The phone is now available for pre-order in China and will officially go on sale starting November 25th. Nubia has also announced that the global launch will take place on November 26th. Prices are -
