Now you can get a full refund for your Galaxy Note 7 purchased from T-Mobile

Samsung has come clean on the battery woes of the Galaxy Note 7 which were at a risk of fire hazard and has issued a global recall. Only 35 such incidents have been reported even though the company has sold over 2.5 million units, Samsung is not taking any changes on consumer safety.

The company has already begun its product recall in the US where they have vowed to voluntarily replace all Galaxy Note 7 units with new ones. But T-Mobile is going one step forward, and offering a full refund in the US.

Customers of T-Mobile can now return the Galaxy Note 7 alongwith any accessories purchased for it for a full and complete refund. You will also get to keep the Netflix subscription and Gear Fit 2 ( or 256GB microSD card) which you got as part of the pre-booking offer. Moreover, T-Mobile will waive all restocking and shipping fees too.

You also have the option to buy any other phone available from T-Mobile with the refund amount or can exchange your Galaxy Note 7 for a new one which Samsung has promised. At present there is no word as to when the new shipments of the Note 7 would arrive but Samsung said it would be done within a week.

You can simply head over to your local T-Mobile store or call 611 from your phone by September 30th to return or replace your Galaxy Note 7.
