Nothing Phone (4b) Design Revealed Ahead of July Launch, Featuring New Glyph Bar and Transparent Aesthetic

Nothing has officially unveiled the design of its upcoming Phone (4b), introducing an entirely new smartphone series designed to bring the brand’s signature ecosystem and user experience to a broader audience.

A New Take on Nothing’s Design Philosophy

According to the company, the Phone (4b) combines design elements from existing models in the lineup, creating a distinctive hybrid aesthetic. The device merges the refined unibody construction seen on the Phone (4a) Pro with the unique Glyph Bar introduced on the standard Phone (4a).

Positioned to the right of the camera module, the Glyph Bar features six vertically aligned white LEDs. The final LED is illuminated in red and functions as a recording indicator. The lighting system is expected to support features such as Glyph Progress, camera timer countdowns, and camera shutter notifications.

The Phone (4b) retains Nothing’s recognizable transparent design language while offering a more streamlined interpretation of the concept. Internal components have been carefully arranged to highlight symmetry, visible through the crystal-clear rear panel that blends seamlessly into the device’s outer frame.

Durability and Comfort

Alongside its distinctive appearance, Nothing has focused on improving durability and day-to-day usability with the Phone (4b).

  • Improved Structural Strength: The device is engineered to offer enhanced durability and better resistance to everyday wear and tear.
  • Comfort-Oriented Finish: A soft, skin-friendly texture has been applied across the body to provide a comfortable grip during extended periods of use.

Users interested in the upcoming launch can register for updates through Nothing’s official website or visit the company's YouTube channel for additional information and future announcements. It will be available on Flipkart after the launch.
