Nothing CMF Phone 1 will be launched soon Globally with a new Unique Design

Nothing has officially announced the impending launch of the CMF Phone 1, marking the debut of the CMF sub-brand in the smartphone realm. A teaser image showcases a dial reminiscent of the one featured in the CMF Neckband Pro, hinting at a potential leather finish for the device.

This revelation comes on the heels of CEO Carl Pei's confirmation that the Nothing Phone (3) won't hit the market until 2025. Emphasizing their commitment to innovation and meticulous design, Nothing asserts that the CMF Phone 1 will serve as a compelling introduction to its broader product ecosystem.

"While others may overlook this category, we're giving it our undivided attention," the company affirms.

According to earlier speculations, the CMF Phone 1 is expected to sport a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display, a dual-camera setup on the rear featuring a 50MP primary sensor, and a 16MP front-facing camera. It is anticipated to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, akin to the Nothing Phone (2a).

The device is rumored to offer 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and come in 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage variants, with the option for expandable memory via a MicroSD card slot. Additionally, it is expected to house a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capability, slightly lower than the 45W charging support found in the Phone (2a).

The CMF Phone 1 is unlikely to feature the Glyph interface, but it may come with a replaceable plastic back cover and a Nothing Lock for exclusive add-ons, as teased by the company earlier.

Initial reports suggest that the CMF Phone 1 could carry a starting price of USD 249 (approximately Rs. 20,785) for the 128GB model and USD 279 (around Rs. 23,290) for the 256GB variant. Its anticipated launch window is slated for July 2024.
