But is that all, how does it fare in terms of performance and its competition. Therefore, we benchmark the Nokia X Dual-SIM on AnTuTu, Quadrant, Nenamark 2, Vellamo and Linpack to see how it fares.

Benchmark Review

In terms of specs it doesn't fare that well against the competition especially due a weak Cortex-A5 dual-core processor and just 512 MB RAM. Still lets see the detailed specifications.

AnTuTu Score Comparison

The Nokia X scored an abysmal 7885 on AnTuTu which far lower than the Galaxy S Duos 2 as well as the Xperia E1 Dual.

Quadrant Score Comparison

On Quadrant, Nokia X got a score of 2961 which is again lower than the competition. The Nokia X doesn't actually perform as bad as these scores show.

NenaMark Score Comparison

The Nokia X scored 33.7 on NenaMark 2 which is an acceptable score and it really surprised us when the Nokia X was able to play Asphalt 8 without any issues albeit in low-settings.

Vellamo HTML5 and Metal

We got a score of 1152 on Vellamo HTML5 and 386 on Metal, both scores are definitely entry-level.

Linpack

On Linpack the Nokia X scored 42.4 on the single-thread test and 68.7 on the multi-thread test again much lower than the competition.

Multitouch Test

The display on the Nokia X is an IPS panel but supports only two points of touch, but considering the entry-level specs and performance of the device we wouldn't even feign surprise here.

Conclusion

The Nokia X has been priced incorrectly, it should have been Rs. 1000 lower in price and it we are going into what should have been, atleast a Cortex-A7 dual-core processor was warranted. Its not just benchmarks, even in real-life apps take longer to launch but they work fine once started. Gaming performance is adequate but it seems Nokia missed a serious opportunity here to sell an excellently build device available with sub-par internals.
