Nokia 7 announced, comes with a glass back and 16MP f/1.8 camera

Nokia has just added a new member to its Android line-up. The Nokia 7 sports a glass back and its a 3D molded Gorilla Glass for added protection. To add to the rigidity of the build, they are also using Series 7000 aluminum for the frame.

The premium design also comes with IP54 rating, which essentially makes it splash resistant. Inside, you will find the Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. You can also expand the 64GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot.

In the front, you get a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Nokia is again using Zeiss optics with the 16MP rear camera which has a wider f/1.8 aperture to capture more details. The pixel size is also larger at 1.12um which also allows the camera to capture more light for better low-light photography. Adding to that is the "Bothie" feature, which allows you to capture a photo using both the rear and 5MP front camera at the same time.

Nokia's OZO immersive audio recording tech has trickled down from the Nokia 8 as well.

Connectivity features include dual-SIM 4G VoLTE support, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as NFC. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with a promised upgrade to Android Oreo. All this is powered by a 3000 mAh battery which also supports fast charging. You also get a 18W fast charger within the box.

The Nokia 7 comes in Gloss Black and Matte White color options. It will be available in China starting October 24th priced at CNY 2,499 (around $375 or Rs. 24,400) with 4GB RAM and CNY 2,699 ($405 or Rs. 30,900) for the 6GB RAM variant. At present, there is no word when it will be launched in India or other regions.
