Nokia 108 and 108 Dual SIM go official, feature VGA cameras, $29 price tag
Nokia is forging ahead with its affordable smartphones line, the latest being the Nokia 108 and 108 Dual SIM, both of which feature VGA cameras. The Nokia 108 has a 0.3 megapixel fixed focus camera and a micro SD Card slot which takes upto 32GB cards where you can store these photos. There's an MP3 player as well as FM Radio to keep things interesting.
If you speak of size the Nokia 108 is quite compact at just 13.5mm thick with a height of 110 mm and width of 47mm. There'a a 1.8 inches color LCD display with a resolution of 160 x 128 pixels. With a weight of just 70 grams with the included 950 mAh you won't even notice that you had it in your pocket.
The battery on the Nokia 108 will last 31 days in standby, with 13.8 hours f 2G talk time and 41 hours of music playback, the best companion on your next camping trip. Here's a video highlighting its various features:
in pure Nokia fashion, the 108 will be available in red, white and black at launch, with yellow and cyan colors to follow soon after. Both the Nokia 108 and 108 Dual-SIM have been priced at $29 which is amazing given the quality as well as long battery life of the devices. These will start shipping in Q4 2013.
