Nexus 9 AnTuTu benchmarks set the internet ablaze, fueled by September launch rumors
Google has revealed no plans about the oft-leaked Nexus 6 smartphone and nothing about the Nexus 9 tablet as well. But the sneaky Nexus 9 has made its way into AnTuTu benchmarks database. The Android L running tablet scored an excellent 45,923 with its NVIDIA Tegra K1 Denver 64-bit SoC. Apart from that the benchmarks also revealed that it will feature a quad-HD display (2560x1440 Pixels). NVIDIA's 192-core Kepler GPU takes care of graphics on the tablet.
If you look closer, an IMEI number is also associated with the Nexus 9 which means that there might be a 4G LTE/3G capable variant also available. At present its not known who is going to manufacture the Nexus 9, but rumors point to HTC getting the tap. The rumor mill is also ripe with news that Google intends to unveil both the Nexus 6 and the Nexus 9 in late September.
