Motorola Signature launched in India starting at Rs. 59,999 with 6.8-inch 1.5K 165Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, 6.99mm sleek design
Motorola has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone and the first model in its new Signature series, the Motorola Signature in India—right on schedule. It stands out with its ultra-slim 6.99mm profile. Its chassis is crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum and features a distinctive quad-curved design.
The phone sports a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED display with a variable refresh rate of up to 165Hz. It delivers Super HD resolution, a peak brightness of up to 6200 nits, and is Pantone Validated, with support for Dolby Vision®.
Durability is a key focus. The device carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering protection against dust, high-pressure water jets, and submersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. It also meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade standards for resistance to harsh environmental conditions. On the front, Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2 provides added protection.
Camera System -
The Motorola Signature is the first in its segment to feature a quad 50MP camera setup, earning a Gold Label certification from DXOMARK. All four cameras use Sony LYTIA™ sensors.
- Main Camera - 50MP Sony LYTIA™ 828 sensor, Motorola’s largest to date, with support for Dolby Vision video recording and 8K video capture.
- Telephoto - 50MP periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, powered by the Sony LYTIA™ 600 sensor. It offers up to 100x digital zoom via “Super Zoom Pro” and features a 71mm equivalent focal length.
- Ultra-wide - 50MP camera with a 122° field of view, which also doubles as a macro shooter.
- Front Camera - 50MP Sony LYTIA™ 500 sensor with Quad Pixel technology and 4K video recording support.
Image processing is handled by the moto ai Photo Enhancement Engine, which takes care of noise reduction, color accuracy, and exposure optimization.
Performance and Hardware -
Under the hood, the Motorola Signature is powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, built on a 3nm process. The chipset features a CPU capable of clock speeds up to 3.8GHz.
To keep temperatures in check, the phone uses a copper mesh liquid metal cooling system designed to maintain performance during demanding tasks such as gaming and high-resolution video recording. Audio is delivered through dual stereo speakers tuned by Sound by Bose, with support for Dolby Atmos®, Snapdragon Sound™, and aptX Lossless.
Battery and Charging -
Despite its slim form factor, the device packs a 5200mAh silicon-carbon battery, which offers higher energy density than traditional lithium-ion cells. Charging is handled by 90W TurboPower™, which Motorola claims can deliver “power for the day” in just 7 minutes. The phone also supports wireless charging at up to 50W.
Software and Support -
The Motorola Signature ships with Android 16 out of the box. Motorola has committed to long-term software support, promising up to seven years of Android OS upgrades and security updates.
The device also comes with enhanced “moto ai” features and expanded language support, including German, French, Polish, Romanian, Italian, and Japanese. Future updates will introduce “white-glove assistance,” a premium service offering users exclusive access to travel and lifestyle benefits.
