Motorola Moto G delayed for India, to come in January-end

As if it wasn't enough that the Moto G launched way early in the US than expected, making us believe that we might get it earlier in India as well, now we are hearing that it might take till January end to make an appearance. Motorola replied to user comments on its Facebook page saying that the Moto G will be heading to India by the month end, and that they should wait for more details.

The reasons are clear, Motorola does not have any presence in India. Some time back they closed up shop and went away, so it would definitely take some to get the necessary marketing tie-ups and outsourced service networks to be brought upto speed before they launch a much anticipated device. Although its a good things that Google/Motorola are taking their time to sort out these details, since Indian manufacturers rarely take the time to consider after sales service an important part of customer satisfaction.
