Motorola Edge S Launched with 6.7-inch FHD+ 90Hz Display, Snapdragon 870 5G SoC, 16MP Dual Front Cameras
Motorola has launched its latest flagship 5G smartphone Motorola Edge S in China, as they promised. It has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 21:9 aspect ratio, and supports HDR10. It runs on the latest Snapdragon 870 processor with 5G SA/NSA support with Snapdragon X55 Modem, up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and works on the latest Android 11 out of the box. The company also shares the AnTuTu score of 680,000 points that offering 12% improved CPU performance and 10% GPU improvements.
Coming to the cameras, it has a triple rear camera setup where a 64-megapixel primary camera along with 16-megapixel 121° ultra-wide-angle camera that can also capable macro images, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and lasts a ToF sensor. On the front side has a dual punch-hole camera where a 16-megapixel main camera along with 8-megapixel 100° ultra-wide cameras with a feature that can take a selfie for 15 seconds to measure the heart rate.
The Motorola Edge S features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that is embedded into the power button and is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 20W turbo-charging in the box, and it comes in white and emerald blue colors.
