Motorola Moto g14 launching in India on August 1st with 6.5-inch FHD+ display, 50MP camera, Helio G85 SoC

Motorola has confirmed the launch of its next budget g series phone the Motorola moto g14 in India on August 1st, after the teaser. It has also revealed the specifications and design of the phone. The specifications and design of the phone have also been unveiled, featuring a tagline "Hatke Style. Hake Entertainment."

The phone will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ screen, accompanied by Stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos, enhancing the audio-visual experience. It will run on a Unisoc T616 processor compared to MediaTek Helio G85 SoC in the g13, but it is still a 4G phone along with 4GB RAM, 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, dedicated dual SIM, and a microSD slot.

The phone is slated to operate on Android 13, with the company's assurance of an upgrade to Android 14 as well as providing 3 years of security updates. As for the camera setup, it will feature a 50MP rear camera, complemented by a macro camera and night vision support. Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging. Additionally, the phone boasts IP52 ratings, rendering it resistant to dust and splashes, and it also incorporates a convenient side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
