moto g max launching in India on August 14 with 6.72-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 SoC, 7000mAh battery
Motorola is preparing to introduce its latest G-series smartphone, the moto g max in India. The upcoming device shares several specifications with the moto g57 Power, which was launched last year.
Design and Display
The moto g max features a premium Luxury Satin Finish and comes in Pantone-curated color options, including PANTONE Stargazer, PANTONE Malaga, and PANTONE Alaskan Blue. On the front, the smartphone sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and animations.
For enhanced durability, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The handset is also designed to withstand demanding conditions, featuring MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability along with high-level dust and water resistance.
Camera System
A 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor leads the rear camera setup. The main camera is designed to deliver detailed images in both daylight and low-light conditions, supported by optimized sensor technology and software processing.
Hardware, Battery, and Performance
Powering the moto g max is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset. The processor is paired with 6GB / 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage for smooth performance and faster data access.
One of the biggest highlights of the smartphone is its massive 7,000mAh battery. Motorola claims that the battery can deliver up to 3 days of usage on a single charge under typical usage conditions.
Software, Audio, and Smart Features
The moto g max comes with several features designed to enhance connectivity, entertainment, and everyday usability:
- Smart Connect: Motorola's Smart Connect feature enables seamless integration across multiple devices, allowing users to sync content and extend their smartphone display to compatible PCs and tablets.
- Audio: The smartphone features built-in stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support for a more immersive audio experience.
- Software Support: The device runs Android 16 and is promised long-term software support, including 2 Android OS upgrades and 3 years of security updates.
