Microsoft Lumia 640 Dual SIM and Lumia 640 XL Dual SIM launched in India, priced at Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 15,799 respectively

Microsoft today launched two new Windows Phone 8.1 devices in India, the Lumia 640 Dual-SIM and Lumia 640 XL Dual-SIM. Both devices are upgradable to Windows 10.

The smaller of the bunch, Lumia 640 Dual-SIM comes with a 5-inch 720p display running on a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor while the Lumia 640 XL Dual-SIM gets a 5.7-inch HD display running on the same processor. Both have Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection in the front, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM running Windows Phone 8.1.

The Lumia 640 Dual-SIM has a 8 MP camera at the back with LED flash and a 1 MP front camera. The Lumia 640 XL Dual-SIM gets a bump in the camera department as well with a 13 MP rear shooter with Carl Zeiss optics and a 5 MP front facing camera. A 2500 mAh battery keeps the Lumia 640 Dual-SIM ticking while the Lumia 640 XL Dual-SIM gets a larger 3000 mAh battery to keep pace with the larger display.

Both the Lumia 640 Dual-SIM and Lumia 640 XL Dual-SIM will be available in plenty of colors including yellow, cyan, red, black and white colors. The Lumia 640 Dual-SIM has been priced at Rs. 11,999 while the Lumia 640 XL Dual-SIM will be available for Rs. 15799. The Lumia 640 Dual-SIM will be a Flipkart exclusive while the Lumia 640 XL Dual-SIM will be available through both offline and online retail channel. Both will be available starting today.
