Micromax Canvas Series Getting Android 4.4 KitKat Update Soon

According to a new leak by MMXNewsCaster, Micromax, one of the most popular domestic smartphone brands of India is working on Android 4.4 KitKat update for its Canvas series of mid-range and high-end smartphones. As per the leak the following smartphones in the Canvas series will get Android 4.4 KitKat update: Micromax Canvas 2 A110, Micromax Canvas Doodle A111, Micromax Canvas HD A116, Micromax Canvas 2 Plus A110Q, Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240, Micromax Canvas Magnus A117, Micromax Canvas HD A116i, Micromax Canvas 4 A210, Micromax Canvas 2.2 A114 and Micromax Canvas Turbo A250. This is great for consumers as it definitely means that Micromax is taking its presence in India seriously and also creating a competition with other International brands like Samsung, Sony, LG.

According to one more leak by DroidExtra, the recently leaked Canvas A200 will be called Canvas Turbo Mini and will also get Android 4.4 KitKat update. Canvas A200 features a 4.7 inch 720p Display, MediaTek MT6582 Chipset, 1.3 Quad-core Processor with Mali-400MP2 GPU.
