Micromax launches first 4G LTE smartphone, Canvas Knight 2 with AMOLED display, Snapdragon 615

Micromax today has announced the Canvas Knight 2, its first 4G LTE enabled smartphone running on an octa-core Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It comes with a 5-inch HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on both the front and back, there's a 13MP rear camera with Sony IMX214 sensor, 5MP front-facing camera here as well. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop right out of the box.

The back and the 2260 mAh battery on the Canvas Knight 2 is non-removable. This is a dual-SIM 4G device, you can use a 2G/3G/4G SIM in any of the SIM slots, moreover storage is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. The Canvas Knight 2 has a full glass and metal build. To enhance audio, Micromax has put in Cirus Logic Wolfson Stereo DAC WM8998 on the Canvas Knight 2.

Micromax has priced the Canvas Knight 2 at Rs. 16,299 and it will be available starting June 10th. You will also get a free 4G SIM card from Airtel with Airtel 4G Double data offer.
