Micromax Canvas 6 with metal body, fingerprint sensor up for pre-order

Micromax had launched the Canvas 6 in India last month and is now available on pre-order from the company's official store.

Coming to specs, the Canvas 6 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display running on the octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and Android 5.1 Lollipop. There's 3GB RAM, 32GB storage onboard which is expandable with a microSD card slot. You can check our hands-on from the launch event below.

The Canvas 6 is a dual-SIM smartphone and support 4G LTE networks in India. There's also support for WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. At the back you also have a 13MP rear camera with phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) and an 8MP front-camera. Just below the rear camera you also have a fingerprint sensor on the Canvas 6.

You also have a 3000 mAh non-removable battery and it only comes in gold color. The Canvas 6 has been priced at Rs. 13,999 and can be pre-ordered from the Micromax Store by Rs. 1000. The phone will ship on May 10th.
