Marshmallow update for Asus Zenfone Selfie (ZD551KL) now available

Asus has started rolling out Android Marshmallow update for the Zenfone Selfie (ZD551KL). The update is being sent out in phases but if you can't wait read till the end for the source link to download the official OTA update file.

Apart from Doze Mode for better battery-life, Google Now on Tap, app permissions, Zenfone Selfie Marshmallow update also removes some bloatware from the device. Now, before you update remember to move all apps back to internal storage as Android 6.0 doesn't support App2SD.

Asus Zenfone Selfie was launched last year with a 13MP auto-focus front-facing camera running on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor and 5.5-inch display. Asus has now updated its Zenfone 2, Zenfone 2 Laser and Zenfone Max smartphones to Android Marshmallow as well.
