LG VELVET 5G announced on May 7 with Snapdragon 765 SoC, curved design, Raindrop triple rear cameras.

Update - LG has finally confirmed to launch its latest mid-range smartphone VELVET in Korea on May 7 in an online event. The company has posted an official invitation video of 15-second that shows the visually of the colors by using four-color drops on the phone to highlighting the waterdrop camera setup.

Earlier - Last week, LG has shared its upcoming Smartphone image with a new design that will be called ‘LG VELVET’. Now, the company has officially released a teaser video that shows the design of the phone along with some specifications.

The company has confirmed that it runs on the latest mid-range 5G Snapdragon 765 processor with a built-in 5G modem, a tiny waterdrop notch, AMOLED display, 3D arc design edge-to-edge curved from both side display and rear side and “Raindrop” triple rear camera setup.

   

 

As know that LG already announced the name “velvet” which evokes the two key characteristics of the phone is lustrous smoothness and premium softness. On the rear upper-left corner has triple cameras setup with an LED flash in the falling raindrops arrangement in descending order by size. The phone looks like a pleasing touch with less sharp edges and angles.

LG has confirmed that the phone comes in Sunset Velvet Touch, White Aurora, Aurora Gray, and Aurora Green colors and is expected to be launch in mid of May. We should know more details and specifications of the phone in the upcoming week.
