Getting lens flares on photos from your Pixel camera, you are not alone
Many Pixel users have reported lens flares in photos taken with their phone's camera. The so-called "halo effect" in brightly lit conditions is not a new phenomenon and is present on most cameras.
It's the frequency of the lens flares in photos that is annoying Pixel owners. Although JJ Abrams would have let that slide, Google is already on the case and is working on a resolution. IsaacOnCamera explained the reason for the issue and that it would be fixed with a software patch.
He added that the new algorithm to subtract the lens flare from photos is being developed and would work with the HDR+ mode on the phone.
