LeEco Le Max 2 is right now the most affordable Snapdragon 820 smartphone in India with 4GB RAM
The Le Max 2 is a good phone to buy, especially at its current price. It packs in the latest Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor with 4GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage running Android Marshmallow. Moreover, it packs a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display which is both sharp and has excellent viewing angles.
The phone is built well with an all metal shell, and there is a minor camera hump at the back. It is a dual-SIM 4G LTE capable smartphone with support for VoLTE on Jio Network. It packs a 21MP rear camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, PDAF, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) capable of recording 4K videos and then there's an 8MP front-facing camera as well.
I have been using the Le Max 2 off late along with the OnePlus 3, and the performance on the devices is quite similar as is the camera performance. Battery-life on the other hand is better on the Le Max 2.

If you weren't in the know, the LeMax 2 doesn't come with a headphone jack but instead routes audio through the USB Type-C port on the smartphone, however you do get a headphone adapter within the box to use your old ones. The audio quality on the smartphone is quite good especially when you have a pair of CDLA headphones with you. Even in general, audio through the earpiece as well as the loudspeaker sound crisp and clear.
Coming back to the build on the device, this is a smaller form factor than the previous-gen Le Max which had a 6.3-inch display. The new Le Max 2 feels smaller in hand, although not meant for single handed use, it doesn't feel bulky. Connectivity options are a plenty as well, including dual-band WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C port with support for fast charging.
Given the current discounted price of Rs. 17,999 on top of which you can get a minimum 10% discount using various credit cards from Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal, the Le Max 2 is definitely worth a look if you are planning to buy a new smartphone for Diwali under Rs. 20000.
