Lava Iris 450 Colours is another entrant in the crowded entry-level segment in India, it features a dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor with 512 MB RAM but with a larger 4.5-inch FWVGA display which is something not found often in this segment. Plus it comes with interchangeable backcovers and one comes free within the box. But that's not what we are here to discuss. Although we have tested several devices with the same chipset, the larger display and higher resolution would definitely strain the processor. Iris 450 Colour scored 4235 on Quadrant which is a high-score considering the 1 GB RAM equipped XOLO A510s too scored just about same at 4234.

To conclude the Lava Iris 450 scores well, there's nothing surprising about the device or its performance. But it does perform well even in day-to-day tasks. The display on the Iris 450 Colour is one of the better ones in this segment with good touch response and color reproduction. Plus you get good construction, replaceable backpanels and a lot more within the box.
