iQOO Z9 Turbo and iQOO Z9 launched with 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3/7 Gen 3 SoC
iQOO has launched its latest smartphones in the Z9 series, the iQOO Z9 and Z9 Turbo in China, as promised. Both devices boast a spacious 6.78-inch 1.5K TCL C8 display with a swift 144Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a local peak brightness reaching 4500 nits.
Powering the iQOO Z9 Turbo is the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, accompanied by up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, while the Z9 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Both models incorporate a 6043mm² canopy VC liquid cooling system to ensure optimal performance.
In terms of photography, the Z9 Turbo is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), supplemented by an 8MP ultra-wide camera. In contrast, the Z9 features a 50MP main camera but replaces the ultra-wide camera with a 2MP depth sensor.
Both smartphones boast an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and splashes, and are powered by a substantial 6000mAh battery with support for rapid 80W charging.

The iQOO Z9 and Z9 Turbo come in Black, Starburst White, and Mountain Green colours. The phones will be available from April 29th in China and the pre-order has started now.
