iQOO Neo8 and Neo8 Pro to be launched on May 23 with 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED Display, Dimensity 9200+ SoC, up to 16GB RAM

iQOO has confirmed the launch of its upcoming smartphones in the iQOO Neo8 series at an event in China on May 23rd, after rumors. iQOO already confirmed that the iQOO Neo8 Pro will be the first phone that runs on the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor.

The teaser images show the phone will feature a self-developed V1+ chip for the first time. It also shows a new sensor along with the cameras that could be an anti-flicker sensor along with a 50MP primary camera with Sony IMX866V and OIS. The back panel has a leather-like finish.

According to earlier rumors, the phone will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED screen with ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, in-display fingerprint scanner, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage and Android 13 with OriginOS 3.

We should know more details and the full specifications of the iQOO Neo8 and the Neo8 Pro in the coming days, and the exact price of the phones when these go officially launch later this month.
