iQOO Neo6 to be launched on April 13 with 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC, up to 12GB RAM
Update - iQOO has finally posted a new teaser of the iQOO Neo 6, which shows the leather finish on the back panel, and looks like iQOO 9 series rear camera module with OIS support. It also confirmed a triple rear camera setup with an f/1.89 aperture for the main camera. It should have an ultra-wide secondary camera and a depth or macro tertiary camera.
The phone has also surfaced in AnTuTu listing with the model number V2196A which scored 10,65,001 points. It reveals Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and is based on Android 12
Earlier - Today, iQOO has confirmed that will introduce its upcoming smartphone the iQOO Neo6 in China on April 13th after the rumors. This will be the successor of the iQOO Neo 5 and Neo 5s that were launched last year. The official teaser image shows that the phone will be based on gaming.
The phone is surfaced on a Geekbench listing that revealed a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor with the codename “Taro”, has 12GB of RAM, and is based on Android 12. According to the earlier reports, the phone will come with the same 6.62-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen as the predecessor but the display will be based on a Samsung E4 AMOLED panel.
The thickness of the phone is 8.5mm and is powered by a 4580mAh battery that supports support for 80W fast charging after revealed on the 3C certification for the model V2196A. This phone is also expected to be priced competitively to take on other latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phones.
We still don’t have the full specs included with camera specs and the design of the phone yet. We should know more details and the full specs of the phone in the coming days before the phone goes officially launched in the mid of April.
