iQOO 15T launched with 6.82-inch 2K 144Hz LTPO OLED display, Dimensity 9500 SoC, 200MP camera, 8000mAh battery
iQOO has officially launched its latest smartphone in the 15T series, the iQOO 15T in China, as previously announced. The device combines flagship gaming performance, a massive battery, and an upgraded camera system.
Design and Build -
The iQOO 15T adopts the design language of the higher-end iQOO 15 Ultra, featuring a futuristic “DECO” style rear camera module. It comes with a low-temperature matte-finish middle frame that helps minimize fingerprints and heat buildup during prolonged usage.
The smartphone is available in three color options:
- Qingyun (new addition to the series)
- Legend Edition (inspired by motorsport aesthetics)
- Racing Edition (performance-centric styling)
Performance and Gaming Features -
At its core, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition flagship processor. According to iQOO, the new-generation “Monster Super Core Engine” delivers up to 34% better stable frame-rate performance under heavy workloads. The chipset is paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
For gaming, the phone includes iQOO’s custom Q3 e-sports co-processor, designed to enhance graphics and gameplay through features such as ray tracing, super-resolution rendering, and frame interpolation.
Key gaming enhancements include:
- 2K super-resolution support for 11 popular games
- 144FPS gaming support across more than 140 AAA mobile titles
- Simultaneous 2K + 144FPS support in 6 major FPS games
- Hardware-accelerated full-scene ray tracing for 4 flagship mobile games
Display -
The iQOO 15T features a 6.82-inch 2K “Everest Screen” built using BOE Q10+ luminescent materials. It offers a 3186×1440 resolution and LTPO adaptive refresh rate technology ranging from 1Hz to 144Hz.
Brightness specifications include:
- Peak brightness: 4500 nits
- Global peak brightness: 1800 nits
For eye comfort, the display supports circularly polarized light technology, 2592Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, DC-like dimming, and updated AI-based eye protection algorithms.
Controls and Streaming Features -
The smartphone integrates a dedicated ultra-sensory touch chip with an instant touch sampling rate of up to 4000Hz, helping reduce touch latency during gaming. It also features a 400Hz ultra-sensory gyroscope for more accurate aiming and motion tracking.
iQOO has additionally partnered with the developers of Delta Force to optimize gameplay with improvements such as:
- Reduced edge-touch errors
- Enhanced joystick response curves
- Click latency reduced to 30.42ms
For streamers and content creators, the built-in “Game Box” interface includes a native live-streaming assistant that can start a stream in as little as 3 seconds. It also supports:
- Stable wireless screen casting
- Automatic highlight clipping
- Smart recording tools
- Privacy filters
- Custom overlay backgrounds
Battery and Cameras -
The iQOO 15T features a dual rear camera setup led by a 200MP primary sensor with CIPA 4.5-grade optical image stabilization (OIS), support for 4x lossless zoom, all-focal-length portrait shooting, and Live Photo overlays with three customizable image styles. Accompanying it is a 50MP ultra-wide camera that supports high-resolution wide-angle photography along with dedicated macro shooting capabilities for close-up shots.
The phone packs an ultra-thin 8,000mAh Blue Ocean battery, making it one of the largest batteries in the flagship segment. It supports 100W fast charging, which iQOO claims can provide up to 3 hours of short-video playback with just a 5-minute charge.
