iQOO 13 will features 6.82-inch 2K 144Hz BOE Q10 8T LTPO display, 6150 mAh battery, and 120W fast charging
iQOO has confirmed that its upcoming flagship gaming smartphone, the iQOO 13 will feature a 6150mAh third-generation silicon-carbon battery, an upgrade from the 5000mAh battery in the iQOO 12. Despite the increased battery capacity, the company highlights that the device remains lightweight and slim. It will retain 120W fast charging, but there's no mention of wireless charging.
Vivo’s vice president, Jia Jingdong, stated that the iQOO 13 will incorporate multi-layer graphene and 7K ultra-large area VC cooling. The VC heat spreader structure and process have been improved to ensure that the latest Snapdragon chip, known as the "high-frequency beast," stays cool under high performance, much like regulating a marathon runner's breathing to maintain peak performance during extended, intense activity.
For gaming, the iQOO 13 underwent extensive testing and feedback-driven optimization, focusing on touch response, high refresh rate display, intelligent network allocation, power management, and AI-assisted enhancements.
iQOO also confirmed that the iQOO 13 will feature a 6.82-inch (3168×1440 pixels) 2K+ 144Hz flat screen with self-developed Q2 gaming chip, delivering PC-level 2K texture super-resolution and native 144FPS super-frame capabilities.
The company emphasized that the iQOO 13 is the only flagship smartphone in the industry to support 2K resolution and 144FPS super-frame concurrently in "Peace Elite," offering top-tier gaming visuals. This results in three key improvements: high output with low power consumption, high frame rate with superior image quality, and fast charging paired with long battery life.
iQOO previously announced its partnership with BOE for the 2K Q10 display, featuring an ultra-narrow design and the world’s first OLED circularly polarized light eye protection technology. Additionally, the phone will come equipped with dual drum master speakers and a powerful 1016H motor.
More details, including the exact launch date of the iQOO 13, are expected to be revealed during the Snapdragon Summit. The phone will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite (8 Gen 4) SoC, as iQOO recently confirmed it will use the flagship Snapdragon chip in collaboration with Vivo, offering enhanced capabilities.
