Apple iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will features 6.1-inch ‌and 6.7-inch ‌LTPO OLED 120Hz punch-hole display with Under-Display TouchID and iPhone SE 2022

Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo said back in September that the 2022 iPhone Pro models will feature a punch-hole display and an upgraded 48MP wide camera. Now, the new report from The Elec a Korean website revealed that the iPhone 14 Pro series will feature 6.1-inch ‌and 6.7-inch ‌LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. As we know that the iPhone 13 Pro series already used Samsung LTPO displays with variable refresh rates.

The report also reveals that this time LG will supply the display for the iPhone 14 Pro series in 2022 if Apple approves those displays. But, the BOE will continue to supply LTPS TFT OLED panels only to Apple next year for the iPhone 14 mini and iPhone 14 that will feature 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screens. BOE is expected to start supplying LTPO TFT OLED panels for the iPhone 15 series in 2023. The Chinese display panel maker will likely start supplying LTPO TFT OLED panels to the iPhone maker in 2023 at the earliest.

According to the earlier rumors, the iPhone 14 Pro models will feature an upgraded 48MP wide camera sensor instead of the 12MP sensor in the iPhone 13 Pro. Later in 2023, Apple is expected to use under-display TouchID tech for the first time in their phones that provides users with multiple biometric authentication options.

Apple is also preparing to introduce its 3rd generation iPhone SE in 2022 with the same 4.7-inch display, but this will be an upgraded processor and 5G support. There have been rumors of a larger "‌iPhone SE‌ Plus" version and possible upgrades like a 5.7 - 6.1-inch full-front display with a Touch ID power button rather than a Home button, but Kuo's latest note suggests the new model won't include many obvious changes.

We should know more details and full specifications about the upcoming iPhones in the coming weeks.
