HUAWEI P50 Pocket to be announced on December 23 Globally along with HUAWEI Watch D with BP monitoring

Today, HUAWEI has confirmed the Global launch event for its latest foldable smartphone HUAWEI P50 Pocket.  The company’s CEO Richard Yu said that 10 years would have passed since the first Huawei P series mode, and also said that the company will see another breakthrough in the aesthetics of smartphone technology.

          

Recently, The HUAWEI P50 Pocket smartphone surfaced as Mate V in China with revealing a clamshell foldable design, similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 3. The Mate V could be powered by Kirin 9000 processor, but with 4G in China, and the global P50 Pocket version will run on Snapdragon 888 SoC with 5G support.

The HUAWEI P50 leak images show a straight rear camera module, but this will be a rumored image, and the Mate V poster shows two circles where one with triple cameras and the other one with a small circular screen that shows time and other Apps notifications.

HUAWEI WATCH D -

The company also confirmed that will launch its latest smartwatch the HUAWEI Watch D with BP monitoring in China. It has a square dial with a 2.5D glass, and the right side of the watch has two physical buttons for Health and Home. Based on rumors, the watch has a pressurized bag integrated inside the watch to simulate the real blood pressure measurement process, and the data will be more accurate.

The watch will also support ECG or electrocardiogram measurement, and based on HarmonyOS, the same as Galaxy Watch 4. The company is expected to launch Bluetooth glasses and other new IoT products at the event.
