HUAWEI Mate X2 to be launched on February 22 with 8.01-Inch Foldable Display, Kirin 9000 SoC

Today, HUAWEI has officially confirmed that it will announce the latest Foldable screen smartphone HUAWEI Mate X2 in China on February 22nd, which will be the successor of Mate Xs that was launched back in February last year. The phone will be powered by the latest Kirin 9000 processor was already introduced in the HUAWEI’s Mate 40 series a few months back. HUAWEI also said that it had filed close to 100 patents for the foldable phone, so we can expect some improvements compared to the predecessor.

According to the earlier reports, the phone will feature an 8.01-inch (2480×2200 pixels) internal main screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.45-inch (2700×1160 pixels) external secondary screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. It will come with a 50MP IMX700 primary camera along with 16MP ultra-wide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP IMX520 periscope telephoto lens. The phone will have a 4400mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
