HUAWEI Mate 40E launched with 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz OLED screen, Kirin 990E SoC, 64MP triple rear cameras
HUAWEI has launched its latest mid-range 5G smartphone the Huawei Mate 40E in the Mate 40 series in China. It has a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It runs on the Kirin 990E 7nm processor compared to Kirin 9000 5G 5nm SoCs in the Mate 40 with dedicated NPUs and supports SA/NSA 5G dual-mode, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and works on EMUI 11.0 on top of HMS based on Android 10.
It has a triple rear camera setup where a 64MP primary camera with Leica optics along with a 16MP ultra-wide camera, an 8MP telephoto camera with OIS for 3x zoom, and a 13MP punch-hole front-facing camera. It powered by a 4200 mAh battery that supports 40W wired and wireless charging as well as wireless reverse charging.

The HUAWEI Mate 40E comes in Mystic Silver, White and Black colors. It will be available from March 18th only in China and the pre-orders starting from today March 10th.
