Huawei has announced the latest addition to their smartphone lineup, the Enjoy 7S. The successor to last year’s Enjoy 6S features a 5.65-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display with a full HD+ resolution.

The smartphone carries dual SIM slots with one of them being hybrid to expand storage. The 5.65-inch screen has a pixel density of 427 PPI. Digging deeper, the Huawei Enjoy 7S features an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset (4 cores at 2.36GHz and 4 cores at 1.7GHz) coupled with 3 or 4 GB of RAM and Mali T830-MP2 GPU.

As for the optics, the rear holds a dual camera setup with 13 MP and 2 MP sensors. The secondary 2MP camera senses the depth and helps in blurring the background. There is an 8 MP front camera for selfies and video calling. Just like any other phone with a tall 18:9 display, this one also made room for the fingerprint scanner on the back.

The phone runs on EMUI 8.0 based on Android Oreo powered by a 3000 mAh battery. The 3 GB variant of the device has 32 GB internal storage whereas the 4 GB RAM variant doubles it to 64GB. However, both of them supports microSD cards up to 256 GB.

Huawei Enjoy 7S is available in four colors; Black, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold. Preorders have already begun in China. For the 3 GB/ 32 GB variant, you will have to spend 1499 yuan ($ 226 / Rs. 14530 approx.) and the 4 GB / 64 GB carries a price tag of 1699 yuan ($ 256 / Rs. 16,450 approx.).

The company also recently launched its budget dual-camera, full-screen smartphone - the Honor 7X in India. It shares a lot of features and specs of the Huawei Enjoy 7S.
