HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle launched with ancient Snapdragon 400 processor

HTC has announced two of the newest smartphones from its stable, the Desire 10 Pro and the Desire 10 Lifestyle. In this post lets have a look at the Desire 10 Lifestyle.

First lets talk about its specs, the Desire 10 Lifestyle comes with the Cortex-A7 based Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, which was announced way back in 2013. The rest of the specs are pretty mediocre as well. You have a 5.5-inch HD display, a choice of 2GB RAM with 16GB storage or 3GB RAM with 32GB storage.

But they were somehow able to port Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the ancient chipset. Connectivity options do include 4G support although I didn't expect it to, then you also have single-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and dual-SIM slots. A 13MP rear camera is also present, capable of recording 1080p videos alongwith a 5MP front-camera for selfies. HTC BoomSound with one front and another bottom firing speaker make a return here as well with 24-bit hi-res audio support and Dolby support. All this is powered by a 2700 mAh battery.

HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle Pricing and Availability

The Desire 10 Lifestyle has been priced at GBP 249 ($325 or Rs. 21700 approx) for the 3GB RAM variant and is going on sale starting today in the UK, as well as some other markets. You will be able to buy it in Black, White, Blue and Valentine Lux colors.
