HONOR 80 series to be launched on November 23 with Snapdragon 782G/8+ Gen 1 SoC, 160MP Camera

Today, HONOR has confirmed the launch of its upcoming smartphone in the HONOR 80 series in China along with the launch of the HONOR Magic Vs foldable phone at the event on November 23rd. The image shows dual front cameras inside the punch-hole, and the rear camera module of the phone forms an “8” shape, highlighting the name. The back panel design on the phone is like texture waves.

Based on earlier rumors, the HONOR 80 series will have the HONOR 80 SE, HONOR 80, and HONOR 80 Pro. The HONOR 80 SE is said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. The Honor 80 has Snapdragon 782G processor and the HONOR 80 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC which will be under-clocked to 3GHz from 3.2GHz, as per the company.

According to leaker Digital Chat Station, there will be a 50-megapixel primary camera came on the front and a 160-megapixel f/1.8 aperture primary rear camera for the HONOR 80 Pro, which is said to feature 66W fast charging.

HONOR already confirmed MagicOS 7.0 will also be introduced at this event. The MagicOS 7.0 will offer cross-application, cross-device, and cross-system intelligent IoT experience offering a seamless user experience for different platforms and devices.
