HONOR 80 GT launched with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, up to 16GB RAM, and HONOR Pad V8 Pro
HONOR has launched its latest gaming smartphone in the HONOR 80 series the HONOR 80 GT in China. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1400 nits peak brightness, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
It runs on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with an independent display chip, so the game frame rate can be increased by up to 100%, and the power consumption is reduced by 25%, as per the company. It has up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and is based on Android 12 Magic UI 7.0. There is 4386mm² bionic VC, as thin as 0.35mm, with ultra-dense copper mesh woven with 1415 copper wires, 74mm ultra-long bionic fiber, superconducting hexagonal crystal graphene, and AI intelligent thermal management system.
It has a triple rear camera setup where a 54MP primary camera with a new Sony IMX800 sensor along with 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP front-facing camera. It is powered by a 4,800mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.

HONOR Pad V8 Pro -
HONOR also launched its latest tablet the HONOR Pad V8 Pro in China along with the HONOR 80 GT. It has a 12.1-inch, 2.5K (WQXA) LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and IMAX Enhanced certification. It runs on MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM, comes with 8 speakers, and supports the Magic Pencil 3, which comes with 4096 pressure sensitivity and 2ms of low-time extension.
The pencil magnetically charges when you place it on the top of the tablet and promises 10 hours of battery backup. It also supports a Smart Touch keyboard dock with 1.6 mm deep travel and 15.9 mm big keys, bringing you a PC-level typing experience.

The HONOR 80 GT comes in Meteor Blue, White, and Interstellar Black colors. It will be available from January 1, 2023, in China and the pre-order has started now.
