HMD Ridge Pro Specs Surfaced Online with 6.64-inch FHD+ 120Hz IPS LCD Screen, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC
HMD seems to be preparing for a new release, according to recent leaks from tipster HMD_MEME’S (@smashx_60), who has obtained pre-sales promotional materials. The upcoming device, tentatively named HMD Ridge Pro, builds on previous leaks about the HMD Ridge.
The Ridge Pro is rumoured to feature a 6.64-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 800 nits. It might be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, based on a 4nm process. In terms of cameras, it is expected to have a versatile setup including a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, a 50MP front camera is anticipated.
The Ridge Pro will likely be available in two configurations: one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and another with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, both expandable via microSD. It may pack a 5500mAh battery and support 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, it might have an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and is expected to run on Android 14. The device will come in Mocha, Snow, and Glacier Green colours.
While official details on pricing and launch specifics are yet to be confirmed, the Ridge Pro's specs suggest it could be competitive in the budget segment. More information, including launch details, is expected closer to the global release in July.
