Google Pixel 10a Pre-Orders Confirmed begin February 18 Globally, Including India
Google has announced its upcoming smartphone in the Pixel ‘a’ series, the Pixel 10a will be available for pre-orders for the Global Market on February 18th, including in India, after rumors.
Google Store subscribers who register by February 13th at 1:29 PM IST will receive an email detailing a special offer on the day pre-orders open. According to Google, customers will need to apply this offer while purchasing the Pixel 10a to unlock a benefit that can be used for a future order.
The teaser highlights a familiar design language, showcasing the phone without a prominent camera bump, featuring a metal frame and a blue colour option. Meanwhile, a front render of the device shared by tipster @evleaks suggests that the Pixel 10a will continue to feature relatively thick bezels around the display, similar to the Pixel 9a.
Previous leaks indicate that the smartphone is expected to retain the Tensor G4 chipset used in the Pixel 9a, rather than upgrade to the newer Tensor G5 processor. The device is also rumored to continue using UFS 3.1 storage and offer up to 2,000 nits of HDR brightness, marking a slight improvement over the Pixel 9a’s 1,800 nits peak brightness.
