Google Nexus 5 specs get confirmed alongwith leaked press shots

It seems no major flagship device can remain hidden these days. Google Nexus 5 has now been seen in an alleged press shot which clearly reflects LG's new design combined with the likes of the previous gen Nexus 10 from Samsung. As with recent Nexus devices, the Nexus 5 too does not have capacitive buttons but on screen ones. Apart from that the specs of the device have also been confirmed through benchmark websites.

GFXBench reports that the Nexus 5 will sport a resolution of 1794 x 1080 pixels (1920 x 1080 rest is used by on-screen buttons) and the device has been codenamed hammerhead. As with all Nexus devices the Nexus 5 will introduce a new version, Android 4.4 KitKat which was internally called Key Lime Pie till the recent announcement by Google. The Nexus 5 will run on a Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2.3 GHz Krait cores, 2GB RAM and no microSD card slot. It is expected to sport a 13 megapixel primary camera, same as the LG G2.
