This may be our first look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Edge/Note 7
Rumors have been ripe about the Galaxy Note 6 getting the dual-edge treatment like its Galaxy S7 brother and if these renders from Uswitch are to be believed, Samsung is going with the tried and tested design here too.
Moreover, the Galaxy Note 6 may actually be called the Galaxy Note 7 or in this case the Note 7 edge. But the design is quite similar to the current-gen Galaxy S7 Edge with one major difference, if you close closely at the bottom instead of a micro-USB port you will see a USB Type-C port. This sits well with the reports that Samsung too will be using the reversible plug in its next-gen smartphones and will also be making a compatible GearVR Virtual Reality headset.
Apart from that you have the familiar S-Pen Slot, speaker at the bottom as well. Although there have been rumors that Samsung may go for a dual-camera setup on the Note 7, it seems we get the traditional single camera at the back.
You may consider Samsung playing it safe with the Note 6/Note 7 this year but its the same strategy that has got them brilliant sales and reviews for the Galaxy S7 series. Coming to specs, the Galaxy Note 6 is expected to run on the Snapdragon 820 with 6GB RAM and come with a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display. But this is all conjecture at this point. We will keep you updated with any developments about the upcoming Galaxy Note, stay tuned.
