CMF Speaker M and Speaker S launched Globally with Customizable design, up to 18h playback

CMF has launched its first range of portable Bluetooth speakers, the CMF Speaker M and CMF Speaker S for the global market. The two models offer different audio configurations and power outputs to suit different listening preferences.

CMF Speaker M

The CMF Speaker M features a dedicated woofer and tweeter, with each driver responsible for reproducing a specific range of frequencies. Its sealed enclosure is designed to deliver controlled sound reproduction. The speaker supports a frequency response range of 60Hz to 20kHz and offers a rated output of 35W RMS.

CMF Speaker S

The CMF Speaker S is equipped with a custom-tuned 45mm driver paired with two passive radiators to improve bass response. It covers frequencies from 70Hz to 20kHz and delivers up to 10W RMS of audio output.

Both speakers offer a range of audio enhancements and playback modes designed to improve the listening experience.

• Stereo Mode: Connect two identical Speaker S or Speaker M units to create separate left and right audio channels for a more immersive soundstage.
• Party Mode: Uses Auracast technology to synchronise playback across multiple speakers, including compatible devices from other brands.
• Ultra Bass: Boosts low-frequency output and can be enabled or disabled according to preference.
• Wide Soundstage: Enhances the perceived width and separation of audio when listening through a single speaker.
• Adaptive Tuning: Automatically adjusts equaliser settings according to the music being played.
• Custom EQ: Offers Balanced, More Bass, More Treble and Voice presets, alongside manual sound adjustment options.

Design and Durability

The CMF Speaker M and Speaker S feature a compact, upright design inspired by milk cartons. Both models are available in white, dark grey, orange and turquoise colour options.

The front panels and volume knobs can be detached using the unlock switch on the rear, enabling users to personalise the speakers. CMF also provides instructions for 3D-printing replacement panels and knobs, offering additional customisation possibilities.

Both speakers carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. They are designed to withstand exposure to dust, sand, rain and splashes, as well as immersion in water up to 1.5 metres deep for a maximum of 30 minutes.

Battery Life and Charging

Both models are rated to provide up to 18 hours of playback at 50% volume with Ultra Bass enabled. A complete recharge takes approximately three hours, while a 10-minute charging session delivers up to one hour of playback.

The speakers also feature a Night Mode that reduces power consumption and bass output. This mode limits maximum volume to approximately 60% of the level available in Standard Mode.

Connectivity

The CMF Speaker M and Speaker S support Bluetooth 6.0, offering a wireless connection range of more than 100 metres. Other connectivity features include NFC tap-to-pair, USB-C lossless audio with latency below 60ms, and dual-device connectivity for two Bluetooth audio sources.

Both models also support Fast Pair on compatible Nothing, Google and Windows devices, enabling quick pairing and easier reconnection.
