Bezel-less ZTE Nubia Z11 will be coming to US, Europe and India as well
ZTE showed its bezel-less nubia Z11 smartphone at IFA 2016 and announced its availability for several regions including India. The new ZTE flagship comes with a 5.5-inch edge-to-edge display with 2.5D curved glass on top giving the phone a whopping 81% screen-to-body ratio.
Just like most flagships of 2016, it runs on the Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor with Android Marshmallow running the show. There are both 4GB and 6GB RAM options with 64GB onboard storage which is expandable with a microSD card using the hybrid 2nd SIM slot. You get the same 16MP rear camera as the OnePlus 3 which uses the Sony IMX298 sensor packing optical image stabilization (OIS) and Phase detection autofocus (PDAF). It uses a bright f/2.0 aperture lens for better low light images. You also get a wide-angle 8MP front facing camera for better groupfies.
Then there's also a fingerprint sensor at the back which can unlock the phone in just 0.1 seconds, according to the company. All this with a 3000 mAh battery is packed in an impressively thin 7.5mm weighing at 162 grams.
That's not all you also get a dedicated audio chip for better audio quality and on the software front Dolby audio tries to improve the audio experience. .Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G LTE with VoLTE support, dual-band WiFiac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C port with fast charging support and NFC.
The nubia Z11 4GB RAM variant has been priced at 499 euros ($550 or Rs. 37000) while the 6GB variant will be available for 599 Euros ($670 or Rs. 44700). It will be rolling out later in September starting with Germany, Italy and Spain. Later it will be available in Russia, Portugal, Czech Republic, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Mexico and the US.
