Asus Zenfone C arrives with 4.5-inch display, 1 GB RAM, 5 MP camera

Asus has just announced the Zenfone C (ZC451CG) in Malaysia which comes with pretty similar specs as the current Zenfone 4 (A400CG) but with a larger display and LED flash for the rear camera. You now have a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display, 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with HT, PowerVR graphics, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM running Android 4.4 KitKat with Zen UI on top.

There's a 5 MP camera onboard as well, this time accompanied by a LED flash and a VGA front unit. The Asus Zenfone C comes with 3G connectivity and might be launched in a dual-SIM avatar as well. There's a 2100 mAh battery as well.

Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and FM Radio. The Zenfone C will be available in Black, White and Red colors for RM 349 in Malaysia (about $97 or Rs. 5900). This will be replacing the current Zenfone 4 models but there is no word on worldwide availability.
