Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Marshmallow update out, removes lot of bloatware

Asus has started rolling out Android Marshmallow update for the Zenfone 2 Laser (ZE500KL) with build number 13.10.6.16_M3.6.44.

According to the official changelog Asus has removed the following apps from the Marshmallow build of the device:

Photo Frame

ASUS Backup

Dr. Safety

Google settings (Integrated in ASUS Settings)

Although Google Calendar, Google Messenger and Dr. Booster apps would still come pre-installed while Asus Email, Asus Calendar and Asus Messaging have also been removed.

The company also recommends that before installing the Marshmallow update on your Zenfone 2 Laser you should move apps to the internal storage. The update is being rolled out slowly and you can check for software updates from settings, if you haven't got the notification yet.
