Apple iPhone 5S now official, to come with new A7 processor, camera and fingerprint sensor

Apple iPhone 5S is official, it comes with the new Apple A7 64-bit processor which is twice as fast and with better graphics performance. The camera on the iPhone 5S is still at 8 megapixels but has a bigger sensor with f/2.2 aperture for capturing more detail. It can take 10fps burst mode photos as long as you hold the shutter, plus a 120fps 720p slow-motion video mode as well.

There's a new fingerprint sensor which Apple is calling the Touch ID and is integrated into the home button. The home button is made of a single piece of sapphire crystal so it won't scratch. The sensor has full 360 degree readability therefore you can use it to unlock the device in any orientation. The Touch ID data is now saved on Apple's servers, it resides within the phone and is not allowed access to any other app. You can also use it buy apps from iTunes without using your password.

The iPhone 5S and 5C will be available on pre-order come September 13th and you'll be able to buy the new iPhones in stores starting September 20 in the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore and UK. The iPhone 5S will cost $199 for the 16GB variant and $299 for 32GB.
