Apple iPhone 15 series launch event could be held on September 13th Globally
Apple is gearing up to introduce its latest iPhone 15 series at its fall event on September 13th, according to 9to5Mac's latest report. The event's main highlights will be the iPhone 15 models and the Apple Watch Series 9.
As a reminder, the iPhone 14 was unveiled on September 7th last year, and pre-orders for the new iPhone are anticipated to commence on Friday, September 15th. However, this year there might be a delay in the sale of one of the iPhone 15 models due to supply issues, similar to what happened with the iPhone 14 Plus.
The upcoming iPhone 15 series is expected to feature several exciting improvements, including thinner bezels, Dynamic Island, and the integration of USB-C ports. Moreover, there are rumors circulating about the Pro models having a titanium frame, which could potentially lead to a price increase.
Like the previous year, it is anticipated that the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will continue to feature the A16 Bionic chip, which was introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro series. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models are expected to be powered by the newer A17 chip.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max is set to receive significant improvements in its camera system, as Apple plans to incorporate a periscope camera, which is the first time in iPhones.
If Apple follows its past pattern and holds the conference on September 13, we can expect to receive official invitations about a week before the event, likely to be sent out during the initial week of September.
